CanCon 24-26th January
Cancon is Australia’s Largest and longest running table top games convention held at EPIC (Exhibition Park In Canberra). It runs Miniature wargames tournaments, Card games, Board games and Role-play events. There are also trade stands, participation games, a board games library and Dragon painting rooms. Entry is free for spectators and there is easy access via public transport.
We will be bringing all types of stock to this event!
Hunter Valley Steamfest 18-19th April
Steamfest features a diverse program of family friendly entertainment. Come along and enjoy live music, roving performance, historic heritage walks, market stalls, gourmet food and more.
The heart and soul of Steamfest is its impressive assembly of steam trains. Be part of the annual ARTC Great Train Race or take a ride on one of the many unique train trips visiting various Hunter destinations.
See how things were done in days gone by at the Rally Ground, featuring a vast array of antique machinery from all over Australia including traction and portable engines.
The Show ‘n’ Shine is an impressive showcase of motoring history, bringing Maitland Park to life with over 500 classic cars, food stalls, live entertainment and fun for the whole family.
On top of all that don’t miss the vintage diesel rides, steampunkers, market stalls, road steam, mini steam train rides, face painting, live and roving entertainment and kid’s activities.
Fae Morgaine Leatherwork will have a wide range of products to hand but will also be giving you some hands-on experience hammering and creating in leather.
SCA Rowany Festival Market Day 11th April, High Range NSW
Rowany Festival is a private event in the SCA Kingdom of Lochac. Affectionately shortened to just ‘Festival’, it is hosted each year by the Barony of Rowany over the Easter long weekend. Festival has been held in many locations, and is currently in the cooler climes of Camp Wombaroo in the Southern Highlands, near Mittagong.
Fae Morgaine Leatherwork will have a table in the Tavern and will be taking orders beforehand for pickup at the event.
CraftAlive Newcastle 8-10th May, Newcastle Racecourse NSW
Now in it’s 33rd year, CraftAlive is Australia’s largest craft event series with events in ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC and WA. CraftAlive events feature craft teachers and retailers from across the country and covers a wide range of crafts from traditional to modern.
Fae Morgaine Leatherwork will have a limited range of stock for purchase, focusing on DIY kits and we will be teaching multiple classes every day!
TBC Thirlmere Festival of Steam 16-17th May, Thirlmere NSW
Run at the historic NSW rail museum this festival features a parade, live entertainment, carnival rides and market stalls as well as an array of historic machinery, locomotive cab visits and train rides.
Fae Morgaine Leatherwork will be offering a wide range of retail sales, demonstrating leatherwork and getting the crowd involved with some hands on hammering of leather!

TBC Supanova Sydney 19-21st June, SOP NSW
Supanova Comic Con & Gaming has been the welcoming home of Australia’s pop culture fandom since 2000; a place where fans inspired by imaginary worlds emanating from comics, sci-fi, fantasy, anime, gaming, nostalgia and literature have been able to come together to celebrate. A place to rejoice in cosplay (‘cos’tume role-‘play’) in expressing your inner geek, your inner child.
At the very heart of it though is the opportunity Supanova provides to aspiring talent, artists and creators as a local national platform to showcase their work to an adoring public that enjoy and enthusiastically embrace newly invented worlds. Where our community of fans are at the ready to jump on for another adventure in helping catapult projects towards the stars!

Winterfest Medieval Fair Sydney 4-5th July, Clarendon NSW
Our favourite event of the season; held yearly at Hawkesbury Racecourse, Winterfest is a jam-packed weekend of history and fantasy for the whole family. Jousting, fighting, music, crafting, performances, animals, shopping and a curated line-up of fantastic food all with convenient train access.
Fae Morgaine Leatherwork will have a large stall with full stock, probably run on very little sleep and sore hands from making as much stock as possible and assisting with festival setup.

Returning to Newcastle for it’s third year, enjoy a weekend of historical fighting, shopping and fun overlooking the ocean in this beautiful location.
TBC Oz ComicCon Sydney 12-13th September, SOP NSW
Oz Comic-Con is Australia’s Ultimate Pop Culture event, showcasing all the latest studio activations, comics, anime, cosplay, and video games. The Sydney event is held in the Dome at Sydney Olympic Park.
Fae Morgaine Leatherwork has applied for a table in the Artists Alley with a limited range of stock due to space restrictions (sorry!) but will be taking orders for pick up both days.

TBC Goulburn Steampunk Fair October, Goulburn NSW
The Steampunk Victoriana Fair is a chance to travel through time, as it never was. Steampunk mixes the industrial age with futuristic imaginations or how the future might have been imagined in the past.
The Goulburn Historic Waterworks, which hosts the annual Steampunk Victoriana Fair, is situated on the beautiful Wollondilly River. The Fair brings an influx of splendid-looking characters complementing the Goulburn Historic Waterworks architecture and aesthetic. Tours of the building are available where you will witness the magnificent pieces of steaming machinery in full operation across the weekend.
Come along to revel in the unique facility, its history & envisage the old-world technology put to use in the future at the Steampunk Victoriana Fair. The retro-futuristic Fair has clothing, art, live music, roving entertainment, a costume parade and much more to feast your eyes on plus a chance to dress up in the genre that melds the classical Victorian era with industrial progress and all things powered by steam.
You’ll also be able to indulge in an array of fantastic food and Steampunk-themed market stalls. Like ours!
